Successful Reunion

Thanks to everyone that helped pull off a really fun weekend: First Grandma for having a great family. Seth, Ashlee, Kaelan, and Forest planning activities. Lynne for providing kid activities and fun. Debbie and Laura for crafts and activities for us girls. Dane for horse back riding and picture taking. Shari for the super cute treasure hunt even with snacks provided. Ashlee, Bob, Mike, Lynne, Debbie, Millie, Kaysha, Shari, Rhett, Sara, Mark, Britton and any others I missed for providing yummy dishes for all the meals. We missed everyone that was not able to come but we enjoyed the activities and time together with those that were there.

Some of the highlights.

Triming Grandma's Tree.
*all the men helped do some yard work around Grandma's house, triming trees and cutting back weeds. The tree looked so much better that we just had to put a swing in it.

Horse back riding
*all the kids young and old got to take a few turns on Chester and Queenie. Everyone did really well and the horses did not put up any big fights.
* those kiddos waiting for turns played tea party with Grandma Lynn or rode bikes around the town.

*That night Aunt Debbie lead a discussion of the memories of Grandpa Lambson, lots of great stories were shared of trying to jump back in Grandpa's truck after you opened the gate for him and he would try to leave you. It was a special night for all of us to hear and remember the great example he was.

*The next morning we kicked off with a pancake breakfast. Yummy.

*Then many participated in a epic paintball war. No pictures were taken, but the welts and war stories were still pretty good.

*That afternoon was the 2012 LFR Strong Man Competition. Teams were made, timers set and muscles and sweat were used.

* That afternoon Grandma Shari designed a Ramah treasure hunt, Kids and Parents rode a school bus around town following clues and exploring Ramah. They even provided a little service at the graveyard.

* To end the great weekend we had a yummy pot luck with lots of Grandma Millie's pies and a family talent show. The musical talent was awesome, and some of the guys did acts from "whose line is it anyway" to bring in the laughs.

Thanks again to everyone! Love
