Most of the family arrives, traveling from all over. Rains in the afternoon. Grandma's house is packed with little ones and lots of hugs and introductions.
7:30 in the evening some of the family loads up to camp on the mesa. As soon as we arrive to the campsite the rain starts up again. Some people are in tents others are in the bunk bed bus Dane and boys made. Everyone gets settled and we just head to bed in the rain.

Rain has stopped for the morning. Everyone makes breakfast and we get more of camp set up. The boys work on the construction of the bath house on the mesa. Girls go for small hikes around the mesa. Soon after lunch in the afternoon the rain rolls in again. With more of the family coming up from town we get a few more traps thrown up. But as the rain continues we all have to seek better shelter. Friday nights family potluck unfortunately gets rained out for the most part.
Saturday July 24, 2010 HAPPY PIONEER DAY
We wake up early and get camp packed up by 9:00am most people find a shower in town. Then we head to the Ramah Community Pioneer Day Celebrations the parade, booths and family. The afternoon was spent visiting and even more rain. Luckily the rain stopped Saturday night. We all joined together at the church for the Ramah Ward potluck and variety show.
